The IDS VP-2 ignition fits in engines that utilize a distributor. The kit includes a DF2 coil pack and a distributor stem (plug wires not included).  The ignition is integrated into the distributor top and has a built in program connector. The ignition works on 4 cylinder engines such as a Volkswagen and does not require a high voltage distributor cap. The ignition will be pre-programmed to for a Volkswagen. Replaces a 009 distributor.

IDS VP-4 Ignition & Distributor Kit for Chevy

The IDS VP-4 ignition fits in engines that utilize a distributor. The kit includes 2 DF2 coil packs and a distributor stem (plug wires not included).  The ignition is integrated into the distributor top and has a built in program connector. No high voltage distributor cap is required. The ignition will be pre-programmed and can be re-programmed with a PLC cable.  Fits Chevy small block and most big block engines.

SF Dual Core Dual Tower Coil Pack

The SF coil pack is used when single firing Harley-Davidsons or for other two cylinder engines that do not have 180 degree opposed cylinders.

DF Single Core Dual Tower Coil



The DF single core dual tower coil is used to dual fire one plug per cylinder or single fire two plug per cylinder Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  It can also be used when cross firing 180 degree opposed two cylinder engines.

The ST coil is a single core single tower coil for one plug one cylinder engines or for distributor based ignition systems.

DF2 Dual Core Quad Tower Coil Pack



The DF2 dual core quad tower coil is used to cross fire engines with 180 degree opposed cylinders.  Each coil pack has two independent two output coils.  One coil pack is required for a 4 cylinder engine and two packs for an 8 cylinder engine.

Customers outside of the United States must complete an authorization form before the order can be shipped by Power Arc Ignitions.  Foreign shipments require a valid email address.
