Power Arc Ignitions

Ignition Development System (IDS)
Computer Programmed Precision Performance for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 & 8 Cylinder Engines

What's new in Version 2 of IDS?

When creating a new file in IDS version 2 you can choose from a list of available ignitions. Only the features the ignition supports will be displayed in the IDS main interface. *

The number of engine starts is recorded as well as whenever a maximum desired RPM value is exceeded. *  Both values can be cleared.  The RPM that a Max. Desired @RPM value is recorded can also be changed.  So that no unauthorized user can alter these values a password must be entered when first accessing these functions.  The password is stored in the module and must be entered whenever these features are accessed in the future.

The Rev. limit can be programmed without overwriting the curve. This means you can change the Rev. limit without knowing or having a copy of the curve that was originally used to program the ignition.

* Version 1 curves are not compatible with version 2.  Older ignitions do not support the No. of Engine starts and Exceeded Max. @RPM functions.  The IDS version 2 software is capable of programming older ignitions and all other functions are supported.
